Sweet momma Mary lost twin boys a few years before having her and Will's son, Dawson. The twins, Braylon and Braydon, are never forgotten... and Mary wanted to include them in a family photo somehow. So we created these two images (because I couldn't decide which order I liked everyone in better) where all three of her boys can be together.
We captured a lot more family memories, too.
Memorial sessions are some of the more emotional work I do for families, but I'm blessed to be allowed to offer an image that can create a tangible vision that some people can only have in their minds.
Danielle lost her dad a year ago, and he never got to meet lil' Aubrey... and I am honored to create this for them to have a moment, even a small one, together.
We also got in some really great fall portraits, too!
Anthony and Aly's dad passed away when they were just little nuggets... and now that brother Anthony is off to boot camp, they wanted some way to capture a complete family photo. Helping their vision come true, we made a more visible memorial photo than I usually do so we could see Dad's uniform.
We also got some really great family moments, too!
"Those we love don't go away... they walk beside us every day."
Michal wanted to create this image as a Christmas gift for her mother as a way to remember the babies she'd lost. Michal and ALL her siblings... finally together in one photograph. I am honored to create such a special moment for her.
We also were able to capture some awesome shots of her and her little family together! Some of Preston, despite him being a very busy little boy these days. And Michal's lil' brother, too!
An absolutely wonderful day out shooting with this gang!
