What is your photographic style?
My style of photography falls into the realm of illustrative photography. I prefer this style because it allows for a relaxed portrait session that captures the spontaneity of candids while still preserving a professional portrait look. I believe that the setting of a wedding is important, too. Therefore, in addition to photographs of your friends and family that shared your day, you also have stunning images of the location and surroundings that were the backdrop to your big day.
What is your working style?
Aside from the more formal posed images of the bride and groom with family and friends, I also capture the little moments as well as the bigger moments. Keeping in mind that the happy couple cannot be everywhere at once, I like to wander around during the day and preserve memories that they may have missed. I stay mindful to blend into the background and have my camera ready for what unfolds naturally, letting people's personalities come through in the finished images.
I have a list of specific shots that I would like to see re-created at my own wedding. Is this something you can accommodate?
Absolutely! I love input and suggestions from clients! My primary goal is to create moments that capture your world, and who better to give me a map of that world than you? This is why I like having the opportunity to meet with wedding folk before the day of the wedding so that I can get to know you better. This allows me to craft artistic images that are personalized for you based on both of our creative visions for your special day.
How many photographers will be on-hand at my wedding?
I am the sole photographer at your wedding unless you request a second photographer. An additional, non-refundable fee of $250 is required, due at the time of signing the contract for a second photographer.

What happens if you're unable to make it the day of my wedding? Or your camera breaks right before or during the wedding? Do you have a backup plan to calm my pre-wedding nerves?
In case of either emergency, I have a reliable plan B in spare equipment and assistant photographers that step up to the plate.
How far in advance do I need to book with you?
The earlier, the better! I don't have a specific time frame in which a couple needs to reserve their date. However, I cannot guarantee that your date will be available if you postpone booking your wedding day session.
Do you require a deposit/retainer fee?
I do not officially reserve your date until one is paid. The deposit/retainer fee is 50% of your session price. Once you have paid the retainer fee, your date is officially reserved. The remaining balance is due before or on the day before your event. If your event includes travel fees (please see FAQ for a fee chart), the travel fees are in addition to your chosen package fee and are due before any complimentary service is redeemed and/or the day before any sessions. Deposits and retainer fees are non-refundable.
What packages do you offer for weddings?
I have three different packages to choose from for your big day. Please click here to view AOP's Wedding Pricing Guide.
Do you book other sessions on the day of my wedding?
No. The entire day is devoted to your wedding and only your wedding!

How do you dress when you attend weddings?
I typically wear shades of dark gray and/or black when shooting weddings so I don't reflect any unwanted tones onto my subjects. However, if you want/need me to dress in a certain color scheme, please don't hesitate to let me know.
May other people take photographs during the day?
I believe that having photographs of your special event taken by the people close to you are important photographs, too! I invite guests to capture their own memories of that day to share with you. The only thing I ask is that during the formal shots of the newlyweds and family, all other cameras are put away. The issue of "wandering eyes" comes up when the bridal party isn't looking in a consistent direction. With my camera being the only one to look at, I make sure your photos are taken professionally and quickly so you are free to enjoy your celebration!
