This sweet girl is growing, growing & growing! Momma knew she needed to have these photos when she found out she was pregnant with a little girl... and now that she's arrived and sitting up, here we have Miss Lyla in her momma's wedding gown. <3

One of my favorite things about sessions is when parents bring items from their childhood to incorporate into it. This adorable little "Happy Birthday" train was actually Dad's when he was a little nugget! <3 
  I had so much fun with our little "Just Because" family session in the studio where it's nice and toasty... because it most definitely was NOT nice nor toasty outside that day. But these guys made going out in the cold 1000% worth it!

 It's about all the in-between moments of love you never get to see. These sessions are so dear to my heart and soul, and I have been really excited to finally share this announcement with you guys. What is a Parenthood Session? It's YOUR life... YOUR moments... with YOU in them!  They are a visual diary for your family and your children of what your and their life looked like right now. All of it. Waking up and eating their favorite breakfast... getting dressed (and even how tricky that can sometimes be!) & brushing teeth... favorite playtime activities... lunch... grocery shopping at your favorite, local store... ballet?... back home to cook dinner... but quickly because your family's favorite show is on tonight!! And finally... reading that book for the 24th time (this week!) before lights out, bedtime kisses and sweet dreams! “Sometimes you will never know the value of something until it becomes a memory.” Yes, all of that (and more!)... artfully captured for you to remember forever.
Those moments may not be what you'd immediately think of wanting documented, but when the kids are grown and gone, they are exactly what we want to remember... vividly. And here those memories are, at your fingertips, to cherish again like it was just yesterday. This is why the Parenthood Sessions are so special to me.
