Daxon brought his best buddy cousin, Talyn! She's a shy and quiet little turkey--the polar opposite of Daxon! But they get along great and have so much fun during playdates! And look how cute they were during their shoot?

These cuties stopped in for a V-Day mini! How stinkin' cute are their outfits and accessories? I love capturing these kiddos' memories as they grow bigger. And, of course, Momma got in on some! I love that Danielle participates in the shoots with her babies because I don't think moms do that nearly enough. They are usually the day-to-day photographer and rarely get a chance to get in front of the camera. The kids will grow up cherishing seeing themselves in photos with their momma. So special!  And, after they'd rocked their love day session, the girls hopped over to get in front of the shimmer wall! Though not portable, it can be used during any in-studio session.  Since I have a dedicated space in my house for a studio room, I can now offer these very special sessions--HEIRLOOM MINIS! I try to balance between documenting moments & emotions and details & features. My family photography sessions are a time to savor the seasons of family life and focus on the relationship between parent and child. Meanwhile, with Heirloom Portraits, I aspire to capture the personhood of a single child, to look into their eyes clearly and see who they were made to be. And as an heirloom, this portrait is not just for you to enjoy but for them to one day treasure and pass down to their children.
